Do You Want to be Made Whole?

Growth on the Journey

Over the course of the last two weeks I have had the privilege to share, on some level, with each of my nieces and nephews, and even my great nephew.  What I’ve come to realize is that I MUST remain on my healing journey because each of them are watching my actions and my reactions.  I took my baby niece to get her nails done and had the opportunity to exercise the fruit of the spirit (self-control), when a nail tech pushed every good nerve that I had and threatened to put her hands on my niece.  The fear on my niece’s face from my response is what caused me to realize that I couldn’t revert to my desired instinct to do and say what I wanted to; but rather to trust and depend on the Holy Spirit to lead and guide me to speak truth to this woman and to demonstrate just how far I have come on my healing journey.  Needless to say, I said what was necessary, maintained my freedom from imprisonment and God got the glory because I didn’t reach back to my days of pitching people around.  I share this post, mainly, because I want to remind my readers that trials will come – but when we allow God to lead, I promise you, that we come out on the victorious side.  Human, I am.  But more than being human – surely, I am a daughter of the most high God who has allowed me to become aware that people’s stuff is just that…”their stuff”!  I don’t have to pick up other people’s foolishness, just because they decide that they want to lay it down somewhere!!! Be blessed and encouraged…
